Bulk Water Usage: Due to bulk water use for scheduled sewer cleaning this week, residents may experience clouded water. This water is safe for use (just not light colored laundry friendly). This will be temporary. Those specifically on the sewer cleaning route have been individually notified.

Insulating Meter Pits

As we prepare for colder weather ahead, the City of Buhler would like to remind residents of the importance of insulating water meter pits. Insulation of water meter pits can prevent pipes from freezing and breaking.

Insulate meter pits with:

-Piece of insulation

-Insulation ring (available through City Office for $20, City will install)

Do NOT insulate meter pits with:

-Packing peanuts

-Leaves/grass clippings/woodchips

If you are interested in having an insuation ring installed, please call the City Office at (620) 543-2253.
